Tasting Notes: The result of a meticulous vineyard selection that discovered three old Tempranillo vineyards in Laguardia. Each plot is elaborated separately to enhance their uniqueness, and then blended into a single elegant and well-structured wine. UKAN is a complex, full-bodied and very drinkable wine with a lot of ageing potential showcasing exceptional fruit purity and refreshing chalky minerality. 16 months in 225L French oak

The Vintage: A dry and cold winter followed by a rainy spring that was welcomed by the blooming vines . After a chilly and moist month of May, in June the temperature started to raise and stayed very warm during the summer, one of the hottest in recent years. Luckily, the heat waves were followed by gentle showers that allowed the vineyards to continue their vegetative cycle without stopping due to water stress and resulting in a low yield and high quality harvest in October with perfectly healthy grapes.
