Tasting Notes: In a typically subtle aromatic grape varietal, this 'orange' style Avesso which had skin contact for 12 days, extracted a wonderful bouquet of aromatic potential. Its ageing of 1 year in the bottle resulted in well integrated tannins, which make this gastronomic and well balanced wine. 

'Curtimenta' is a Portuguese term referring to the winemaking technique, in this context, it translates to "skin contact" or "skin maceration" in English.

The Vineyard: Case da Vilacetinho is located in Alpendurada overlooking the River Douro and covers an estate with 30 hectares of vineyards which develop in a continuous and ordered manner in soils of granitic nature, with a predominantly South sun expoure, making it one of the most prosperous locales of the region set to the production of 'Vinho Verde'.
