Tasting Notes: Priore means power coming from wisdom. This is a perfect description for the most important and precious wine of Piedmont region, known all over the world. Nebbiolo elegance can still be perceived through the intense notes of cinnamon and vanilla, thanks to the ageing in oak tonneaux and barriques together. Ageing: 36 months in oak barrels.

Grandpa Tumlin told that in 1948, when planting the first vineyard, he felt a strong emotional bond and possession towards his own land, together with the pride to be able to continue the tradition of his ancestors whose roots date back until 1837. A precious heritage of ancient wisdom, that Tumlìn handed down to his children.

This wine was saved for an Easter Sunday supper and thoroughly enjoyed. A subtle red wine with glass-filling aroma, depth and complexity of flavour with hints of caramel and seasoned wood shavings infiltrating red fruits.
