What made you decide to buy an eBike?
With a growing business, it became apparent that we would need to start thinking about getting a second vehicle to support us with our deliveries. We knew we wanted something electric to help us with our carbon offsetting, but there was the extra hurdle of installing a charging point…
Is it a practical investment?
It’s absolutely a practical investment for a business like ours. After doing some research we came across the e-cargo bike, a 75 load electrical bike with the ability to carry 60 bottles.Not only was this a safer investment for a small business, but it felt like a great option for fulfilling deliveries in and around our home city of Truro.
Has it made local deliveries easier?
The impressive thing about our eBike is not only do we save journey time due to skipping congestion, we can just pull up outside our drop off points without having to worry about parking (yey!) The e-cargo design is perfect for nipping around Truro city, and the efficiency of this delivery method means we can easily top up restaurants when they need extra wine in-between larger restocks.
Do you deliver to private customers, or just restaurants?
Of course we deliver to our lovely local private customers too! In fact we offer free local delivery with the added kudos of having your wine arrive at your door in an eco-friendly method. Discounts are available when ordering cases of six or more, just call us to discuss your requirements!
